SUPPORT FOR THOSE IN NEED
AGMD understands that support for patients and family members is critical. Many feel very much alone, and for some, the Association of Gastrointestinal Motility Disorders, Inc. (AGMD) is the first place where they find comfort, understanding, camaraderie and a sense of belonging. For many, AGMD is the first place where they are able to openly share and communicate about what they are experiencing.
We understand the particular needs of patient groups as well as their caregivers, resulting in the creation of the PEDIATRIC, YOUNG ADULT, ADULT, SENIOR CITIZEN, CAREGIVER and FAMILY divisions.
Our organization offers many different ways of obtaining support, including in-person meetings, Telephone Internet meetings, Online Inspire Community site, and Webinar programs.
AGMD also has a PRAYER COMMUNITY where you may request special prayer intentions and/or respond to prayers posted.
